Ok we all do it. End up with hundreds of discarded, near dead batteries lying around the house. It seems like I cant open a draw in my house without finding a few lurking at the back at the back of it. So imagine my joy when this little gadget Battery Eater by David Dear arrived. Finally, a less shameful way to discard old batteries than just chucking them in the bin.Thats right, now we can feed our seeming useless, dying AA batteries to the Battery Eater, a gruesome green monster which takes a battery between its teeth and sucks away at it until theres no life left in it. Made from a circuit board with wire for hair, the Battery Eater uses the last drops of power to light up his LED eyeballs and watch as they blink with his delight.Whats more, its magnetic so you can stick it on the fridge as well as hang it from a small nail or tack in the wall.It may not sound like it serves much of a useful purpose - clearing the house of batteries that have ceased to power up your other gadgets, but somehow it still seems like a good idea doesnt it?
